Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala has asked the journalists to work
seriously in the coming days to help draft a democratic constitution for
Nepal.
Talking to some of the newly elected members of the Federation of Nepalese
Journalists (FNJ) Tuesday, Koirala maintained that the constitution making
process would be more difficult task than the peace process.
Newly elected FNJ president Dharmendra Jha, general secretary PoshanKC,
secretary Ramji Dahal and treasurer Ramesh Bista and some members of the
Nepali Congress affiliated Nepal Press Union had reached the PM's
residence in Baluwatar in the morning.
During the meeting, PM Koirala also assured the FNJ team of all possible
support that journalists might need in future.
The new team is scheduled to take over the responsibility of the umbrella
body of Nepali journalists today. nepalnews.com ia May 06 08
