AFC U-14 Football: Nepal VS Afghanistan on Sunday

Nepal will take on Afghanistan on Sunday in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under -14 Festival of Football.

Following the withdrawal of Bangladesh, it transformed into an eight-nation event where other participants are Afghanistan, Bhutan, Maldives, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and hosts Iran. The event for the players of South Asian and Central Region, born on or after 1 January 1994, will be held from 18-22 May 2008 with size 5 ball and a field having dimension 90 M x 60 M.

In all, 36 matches will be played in the five-day long festival. The first 24 matches will be of 30 minutes each and last twelve will be 60-minutes long. But the wins or loss will not be counted as there will be no trophy for the winners in the festival, but the players will be awarded with green cards to promote fair play.]
