Who is informer amongst us?

I had made certain comments as regards the role of some countries for contributing to the success to the April Revolution.

While some countries remained engaged in issuing press releases or for that matter making stringent comments against the King all along those fifteen months rule of the King, on the other some countries, spared no efforts in humiliating, insulting and even questioning the very viability and the permanency of the monarchical institution in a naked way. Such efforts were made through the kind courtesy of our own "neighborhood-funded" media and the latter even felt no shame and regret that they were insulting their own head of the State and instead eulogizing the chief of the executive of such a country which never have had any love, respect and honor for this country after she came out from the clutches of the colonial rule.

Those which issued press statements have had no designs against Nepal. These countries have had no intention to grab Nepali lands. These countries, above all, have had no intentions in influencing the future course of Nepali politics. All that these countries wanted a Nepal runni9ng on democratic patterns wherein the King possessed only a ceremonial role and that the Nepali people be allowed to chart their own course of action at a later stage. This was fine.

However, certain countries in the neighborhood wanted a weakened monarchy, a weakened army and above all a weakened political system and the leaders so that at an opportune moment Nepal and her leaders could be twisted for extracting political benefits.

Nepali leaders knew this phenomenon but were shamelessly seeking alien support in order to defame their own revered institutions which continues till today.

That this particular country was practically with all the Nepali stakeholders makes it abundantly clear that why she acquired this special political line?

It is not for nothing been said that this country has a wide network of intelligence men posted in Nepal. It is also said that this country has many "paid informers" even in the domain of the Nepali media. However, who they were, our sleuths have been hunting them.

That this country's heavy presence is in Nepal gets reflected from a hair-raising story that just happened this Saturday morning at a seminar held in Kathmandu.

One conflict management expert while presenting his paper suddenly made these comments, (sic) " If the discussions being made here at the seminar venue reached verbatim to one of the most influential embassies( guess which could be that?) in Kathmandu would not be any surprise".

This expression does tell that some one amongst us, who is very close to us all is passing vital and national level secrets to that particular country.

This revelation is indeed dangerous. Isn't it a very disturbing revelation? It is hundred percent true.

But will we make efforts at "exposing those amongst us" who is passing information to this particular notorious embassy in Kathmandu?

No way! It makes the government. It breaks the government. It manages a revolution. She hastily subsides the movement. She does what not and what not.

But then yet, I did my job well. My duty is to inform my valued readers which I did honestly. How to expose those informers is the concern of Nepal's security agencies.
