These Buffoonery political thinkers!

The momentous political changes that dawned in this country beginning the early months of 1990 not only brought with it some good political features in the inauguration of an entirely new system here but also some buffoonery traits accompanied the said political change. This should automatically mean that some buffoons also got some seats reserved in various political paraphernalia and the political parties have had to adjust the newly entering buffoons according to their degree of the buffoonery persona what they possessed in themselves.

More so after the successful conclusion of the April revolution this year, the number of such buffoons have not only increased but swollen to an unimaginable extent which bodes not only ill for the political parties that have housed them but the country is sure to suffer at large with their capricious, ridiculous and anti-national sentiments that they more often than not express as regards genuine national issues.

Instead of shielding their own country from the multi-faceted onslaughts from neighboring countries, these political buffoons appear more interested in defending the other side that should have been held responsible and penalized through the effective and meaningful use of the International Court of Justice and the relevant International laws for having poked their extended nose in our exclusively internal matters on an uninterrupted basis, if one were to recall.

Look for example, the other day one such buffoon even reiterated at a Nepal Council of World Affairs that "Nepal should henceforth not try to annoy friendly countries for whatever harm they inflict upon us in the name of what he termed as "hollow nationalism".

This buffoon should understand that nationalism as such, whether it is ours or theirs, is never hollow. It is a solid thing, though abstract in nature that makes a person residing in that particular country proud and happy. It is just a sense of feeling that one could express in terms and should defend his or her country from the approaching attacks from any corner of the world.

Therefore, we reject the buffoonery lecture of a political personality out rightly that Nepal should henceforth not raise the issues that have not only remained controversial one but have been a sort of sore that demanded urgent surgical operations.

According to this political buffoon, Nepal should not mind as and when India encroaches upon our lands here and there; likewise this political animal who once by the grace of Almighty assumed the post of country's foreign minister recently would make sermons to the Nepalese nationals not to irritate India even if she hurts our national sentiments. This gentleman would prefer that Nepal must remain obliged to whatever support India extended to the SPA in order to bring down the institution of the monarchy. He however, forgets that India is such a country in the globe which would time permitting twist the Nepali arms in such a manner that we the Nepalese will even no time to cry. Let the Maoists not even forget that what support India extended to them in the initial period, and now it is the same India which is obstructing not only the peace process but also of their elevation to the ministerial ranks in the near future.

Thus this buffoon has been suggesting us all that there is and should not be the existence of the word "nationalism". Why this Indo-pendent political thinker has been appeasing India to this amazing extent must be a food for intellectual thought and academic debate for the independent thinkers of this nation who believe, we are sure, in the existence of the word nationalism as such contrary to what the political buffoon has said the other day.

Should we mean that India has gained one more buffoon in her long list that she already in possession presumably for whom Nepal 's national interests were meager in comparison to those of India ? Should this also mean that this political creature has been made to talk on that line which contradicts the feelings the general Nepalese possess for their motherland?

In all, nationalism/patriotism is not a hollow thing as such as pronounced by this gentleman. It is albeit an abstract feeling but then yet which gives courage and instills a sense of pride in the citizens of a country that resides in a specified boundary and feels pride in being different than others. In that way we must respect what others possess for their respective countries.

It is time that buffoons stop talking the absurd and begin considering as to what this soil provided them.
