Wasn’t third counting desirable?

The verdict made by the Special Election Court that dismissed UML’s Rajendra Prasad Lohani from, and ascended the RPP’s Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani to the parliament as MP irks the main opposition while giving food to rejoice for the second main opposition in the Lower House. However, the verdict neither annoys nor pleases the people who have no strong inclination towards any of these parties. Yet, it has provided room for raising a number of altercating questions.

For the common people, both the decisions (the former made by Election Commission and the later by the Special Court) are of equal weight, as both are made by equally prestigious and the so-called independent constitutional bodies. I think since the second count contradicted the first count, there should be at least one more ‘confirmational’ count before reaching to the final decision.

In case the decisions are made due to technical reasons of different viewing of the ballot, it could be excusable. But, if reasons such as financial irregularities, for instance, are found to be correlated with any of these decisions, whom should ordinary people believe as authentic?
