Ananda Pragya to mark Buddha Jayanti

KATHMANDU, May 15 - In order to mark the 2,544th Buddha Jayanti, Oshodham Travels and Tours and Pathik Health Foundation are going to jointly organize a forum on Buddha’s teachings from May 17 to May 19 at Kamal Pokhari here.

According to a press release jointly issued by the Tours and the Foundation, the forum called Ananda Pragya is a self-development and stress management programme which frees people from stress, conflict and misery. The forum is popular in India and it has been gaining popularity in the kingdom in recent days.

Swami Kalyan Maitreya coordinator of Ananda Pragya Mission in Nepal says the root cause of misery is unawareness and the forum will enable the participants to find a key to life which is full of awareness, love, commitment, courtesy and acceptance.

The three-day programme is expected to relieve the participants from mental stress, anxiety and other mundane stresses, sates the release.
