Queen's birthday observed

KATHMANDU, Nov 7- The Nepal Beda Bidyashram today observed the auspicious birthday of Her Majesty Queen Aishwarya Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah on the occasion of its 27th anniversary.

On this occasion, Chief Guest of the programme, Dr Swami Ramananda Giri distributed awards to the students who came first, second and third in the school's examinations and other extra- curricular activities.

Swami Ramananda Giri also felicitated two staff for their life long contribution to the school.

The Nepal Beda Bidyashram is a Sanskrit school which was established in 2031 B.S. by His Majesty King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, with the aim of preserving the Oriental culture.

The school runs with the help of aid provided by the Pashupati Area Development Trust.
