Chess column needed

Ample progress has been made in your English daily since July 1, 2000. Now, it has
become a heavenly gift for regular readers like me who live in remote areas. It has brought many changes in my life, and has played a significant role in enhancing my personality. Truly speaking, it has taught me to lead a hectic and productive life.

There used to be the "Chess" column in the Sunday Post but it is no more there. Why did it vanish from the last page of the Post? We would be only too jubilant and thankful, if you could put the "Chess" column as soon as possible.

Fed up with false promises

We the citizens of this country are fed up with big speeches and false assurances of our inefficient government. The government and other political parties cannot solve their own problems. How can they solve problems like inadequate water, electricity, environmental degradation, garbage hazard and poor security. Now why do these leaders want to fool citizens with the Melamchi project when gallons and gallons of water is wasted through leakage and through excessive wastage? If the inefficient government has some sense, why doesn’t it stop the water leakages first. And please, we do not want any false promises .We are neck-deep in foreign debt and loaded with numerous unsolved problems. So, I sincerely request our leaders not to act as puppets on a string. And please, stop playing the dirty game of politics.
