KATHMANDU, Nov 15 - Graded English Medium School (GEMS) will revive the GEMS Gymnastic Championship, an inter-school gymnastic championship, after a gap of three years, according to the organizers.

In a press release distributed at the press conference, the organizers said that the championship, fourth such championship by the school, will be held on 2nd and 3rd of December this year. The championship will have two events: Compulsory Floor Exercises and Optional Long Horse.

The participants will be competing for the trophy in three groups among boys and a single groups among girls. The groups for the boys are: i) upto grade 5, ii) Grade 6-7 and iii) Grade 8-10.

The championships expects a participation of 50 schools.

Rajesh Khadka, Founder Director of GEMS and President of the organizing committee said that the championship is just a small effort towards saving and preserving the gymnastic discipline.
