Lost and never found

I have been in Nepal since last year. In this period, I found Nepali people lovely and friendly in all respects. Although I am a foreigner, I am not facing difficulties except with some government offices.

A few days ago, I lost my telephone diary. I was very hopeful to get it back considering the generous nature of the Nepalese. Sad to say, no one contacted me. I informed the local Police but all was in vain. I got no response. I even had my message broadcast through the FM stations but nothing has come up. I wonder why the people are so uncooperative? What will be the use of a phone diary to others? I am suffering a lot without it; I am out of communication. Honest people, I still haven't killed my expectation of recovering my telephone diary. I am still waiting for the call of the gentleman who may have found it.
