Post Report

KATHMANDU, Oct 13- Pragatishil Yuwa Club of Maitidevi chalked out a comprehensive 118 runs victory over Bansbari Cricket Club.

Taking help from some mediocre Bansbari bowling and some weak fielding, Pragatishil amassed a good looking 215 before being bowled out in the 37th over. The feature of their inning was a hard hitting half century by talented Vikrant Chhetri. Vikrant struck seven fours in his 52 runs that came off 54 deliveries. There were two other sweet little innings from Abhey Satyal who made 21 and Karan Ghimire who also made 21 that was punctuated with four hits to the fence.

For Bansbari, Rajkumar was the most successful bowler claiming three wickets while Wangchuk and Rakesh shared two wickets each.

Chasing a tough target, Bansbari were soon in trouble and never looked like getting even near to the total as they were shot out for a paltry 97. Arveen was the topscorer for Bansbari making 18 runs and remained not out till the end.

Raju Basnet was the pick of the bowlers for the winners. Raju claimed three wickets.

Vikrant Chhetri picked up the man of the match award for his valuable knock.
