Training Programme held

KATHMANDU, March 3 - Nepal Mountaineering Association and Eco Himal jointly organized ‘Female Outdoor Leadership Training’, a training programme intended to promote Mountaineering tourism among the women today.

The training programme, which started from Helambu on the 19th of March also included rock climbing training at Dhungebhir in Balaju, Kathmandu. It was participated by 15 Nepali trainees. The programme was coordinated by Dimi Sherpa and conducted by American trainer Angela Hus, training chief Da Tseri Sherpa and Norbu Sherpa.

Tashi Jangbu Sherpa, the president of the association presented certificates to participants amidst a programme held at Naxal today. The programme was attended by president of Iran Mountaineering Federation, Sadeg Agajani.
