Sharma asks PM to step down

MORANG, April 27 (PR)- Rabindra Nath Sharma, Vice President of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, RPP today said that it won’t be acceptable to his party if the Prime Minister is given a clean chit by Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority(CIAA) in infamous Lauda scam while he is in power.

"If the scam is probed while the Prime Minister is in power , we won’t accept whether he is found guilty or acquitted. He should step down before the case is investigated," said Vice President Sharma.

Only yesterday CIAA ordered Hari Bhakta Shrestha, former executive chairman of RNAC and Tirtha Lal Shrestha , board member into custody, who failed to provide a bail of Rs 50 million each that the commission asked them to submit.

" The situation demands the Prime Minister to step down immediately on the moral grounds," said Sharma.

He also said that despite the parliament was stalled for a long time , the Prime minister didn’t budge. However, he also condemned the protest by the leftists to oust the Prime Minister.
