Please, report on Gupta
The Kathmandu Post ‘s Suman Pradhan is quite correct
when he says that Deuba’s "selection of the cabinet also fails to inspire
confidence on one key count: checking widespread corruption" (The Oh! No Cabinet,
July 27).
For a good start, can the Post investigate how much money the
Information and Communications Minister Jaya Prakash Gupta took from the promoters of FM
radio stations in Pokhara during the last two weeks of his office at the same Ministry
last time? Or are you too afraid to produce such write-ups? Can we harbour hopes? When
will you surprise us with an investigative reporting on Gupta’s corruption?
