Gyan Niketan Basketball
KATHMANDU (PR)- Jagat Mandir High School, inspired by Roshin
Limbu’s 35 points, defeated Occidental Public School 47-6 in a one-sided match played
on the second day of Gyan Niketan Running Shield inter-school basketball tournament on
Tuesday.
The other winner of today was Grammar Public School, who beat
Neptune High School 49-9. Nirab Upadhyay of Grammar was the highest scorer of the match
with 17 individual points.
Similarly, Wilson Academy defeated VS Niketan 89-44 in a
highscoring match. Amit Tulachan of Wilson scored 27 points, the highest in the match.
Likewise, in the other matches played today, Nirmal Secondary School beat Babylon School
65-27 while Don Bosco School and Suryodaya Boarding School won their respective matches
against Princeton School and New Millennium High School.
