For Nepal, Manjeet Shrestha and Monik Shrestha were the pick of the bowlers taking two wickets each. They bowled well keeping the Kuwaiti batsmen in check.

Nepali boys, not chasing a particularly difficult target, overtook the Kuwait’s score in the 36.2 overs losing five of their wickets. The batsmen showed enough application to reach the score without any panick and hurry.

Monik Shrestha and Dipesh Khatri were the best batsmen for Nepal in today’s match scoring 31 runs each.

Although the win is meaningless as Nepal would not reach the semifinals of the championship having lost both of its previous matches against the host Bangladesh and Pakistan - the favourites to win the cup.
