Rash promises

Iwas dismayed to read in your daily that there might be another mid-term poll. Another mobilization of millions of rupees from the national treasury, just because the politicians could not put their heads together? Does this nation have to be bled of its limited income to make the politicians happy? Just because we have friendly generous countries to help us in many ways does not mean that we should take advantage of their generosity by spending a huge amount of money in elections in which usually the same people get elected. All the parties claim their plans will enhance the status of the country. If they have the same purpose, why can’t they put their heads together and seek the best for the country?

I would like to request the leaders, who claim to be the custodians of this country, to try eliminate the greatest disease called AIDS (Acquired Interpersonal relationship Deficiency Syndrome) the mankind confronts. For this, they have to free themselves from the clutches of self-interests. Leaders have been voted for on the basis of their visions, which was at one time the main cause of their imprisonment. But the same people now fight among themselves, and betray us and the country.
