Unfair evaluation at TU

After seven months, the ISc Part I result was published, and to be noted: it took them seven long months to evaluate answer sheets of just around 5000 students.

However, that is not the only issue that has enraged us. Just like every year, the result was totally unfair, unacceptable and shocking (at least for the students at St Xavier’s College). This isn’t the first incident. There have always been discrepancies in the Physics and English marks. The Part II Examination result, too, had more than half the college wondering how answer copies were evaluated. There was a year when nearly a dozen of our students received just 27 marks in English, not because their English was poor, but because they fell victims to the deeply rooted massive irregularities at TU.

I wonder if this year’s result is a ploy to earn money through the so called "retotalling" facility. And mind you, there are no "reevaluating" arrangements this time.

No matter how many anniversaries TU celebrates, it will remain forever as an old, eccentric, inefficient and hopeless university.

We, the students, demand fair judgement. The effort a student puts in must be realized and appreciated.
