Three die in separate incidents

BUTWAL, Rupendehi, July 11- An unidentified group shot dead Top Bahadur Shrestha, 23, a resident of Dhudharackha VDC-9 on Tuesday night, police here said.

Police said that the group led the victim to a nearby jungle and brutally killed him.

Shrestha’s wife Kalpana said that her husband was called by local Maoists before he was shot dead. Police also said that the victim was involved in various crimes over the last five years.

Likewise, in another incident, Krishna Basnet, a driver at the Nepal Telecommunications Office in Butwal, died of electric shock while fixing a ceiling fan at his own house.

In yet another incident, Chhabikala Bhattarai, from Butwal municipality-9, committed suicide by hanging herself at her maternal home at Nayagaon. The reason of her suicide could be the internal conflict with her family members, police said.
