Please do not print details
about the RNA’s plans and strength in the Rolpa situation in your paper. They are
trying to free policemen who have families and children, and your attention to such
details could cost them their lives.
There was a similar incident
in the Falklands war when radio stations broadcast similar news, and the army were
slaughtered by the Argentineans who were made aware of the plans and changed their tactics
accordingly.
We want this situation to be
resolved with minimum bloodletting on both sides and restore peace in this country. It is
unbelievably distressing that your newspaper can be so irresponsible in this way.
