Concern
over abortion right
We all need human rights and freedom of speech worldwide.
Would the access to safe and legal abortion of women in Nepal do any better? What kind of
message would this send to our new generations? American people fighting for fairness,
freedom, and democracy with abortion rights. As a result, thousands of unwanted babies are
murdered every hour in America alone, in the name of womens right. These babies are
not even considered humans until they are born! Is that what we want in Nepal, too?
The genuine case of saving mothers life during
pregnancy is a totally different matter. In a country like ours, are we looking for family
values to promote teen sex from our homes and schools to hand our kids condoms and pills
for the safe intercourse with their partners? Or is it for opening up the highway for sex
market? Then, what next? Male rights movement? I do not think Nepals abortion laws
are considered among the worlds harshest. The current laws are protection shield for
our Nepali family values to encourage our daughters, sisters, and brothers for virgin
marriages. Do we want to invite the culture like of America, where it is a great shame to
be a virgin? And where premarital sex is widely practiced.
It is not the harsh abortion law of Nepal that forced women into
prison, it is the consequences and breaking up of a law where unborn babies are considered
real humans. The execution law of the State of Texas in America for killers and murderers
of another human being is death. This State has the highest rate of executions among all
the other States in America. Is this sending a clear message not to kill another human
being? Sure it is! My point is, we need laws that send clear messages to protect the
common good of our people. The Nepali government has made the good decision on this matter
and hope will continue the same.
In Nepal, we do not need abortion right for women. They need our
family love, care, and protection. The abortion right certainly opens the doors to kill
unwanted babies and encourages the sex-free markets.
