tolerance
Iwould like to make a few comments on the
destruction being carried out by Taliban against the Buddha’s idols.
Ignoring international outcry, including Muslims
countries, the Islamic fundamentalists’ firm determination to wipe out the most
valuable properties of the earth cannot be stopped. It is a shocking news, indeed.
The darkness has already started ,enveloping the
entire region of Afghanistan. In fact, the whole world is entombed in darkness due to the
heinous activities of the Islamic fundamentalists- the Taliban. The attack on
Buddha’s idols with sophisticated weapons has caused an immeasurable loss to the most
valuable properties of the earth ever known to mankind.
The deplorable activities carried out by the
Muslim fanatics in Afghanistan reveal that they have no respect for and tolerance to other
religions. This kind of filthy behaviour or activities do not help us create peace and
harmony on this earth.
Such fanatic behaviour can be infectious, if it
is not checked immediately. Therefore, the international community should now come forward
and probe into the matter, so that we can prevent such barbaric activities in order to
keep peace, harmony and amicable relationship among the people who follow different
religions and faith.
