Maoists and civil war

We have been reading that there would be civil war if the government mobilizes army against Maoists. It is said that it is a political solution. This is the voice of discontents of NC, UML, ML, RPP and human right groups. May I ask a question to all those people who advocate cheap slogans and do not do anything to bring the Maoists across the table?

Murdering innocent people and saying power comes through the barrel of guns will not restore peace. If they have killed people who disagreed with their views since 2052 BS, is it not a civil war when one Nepali kills another Nepali? When police kill ordinary Nepalis or Maoists kill, it is civil war though we may say it is just a nascent form. Is there any courage on the part of NC, UML, ML and RPP leaders who say this thing to lead campaign against the Maoists activities in the street like they do against Girija Prasad Koirala ? What are they trying to prove making it like there is no government in Nepal and pushing society to the brink of unmanagable disorders and anarchy? Are they not creating anarchy? Why can’t they give programmes against Maoists and Koirala at the same time for the relief of common people? Is it not their double standard political approach against the interest of the country and people. Critical analysis about UML, ML, RPP and others’ activities against Koirala points out just hunger for power sharing as soon as possible. If any leader or political activist of whichever faith really wants to better this country, then he needs patience, honesty and morality, not just political gimmicks and misadventure. If they have any courage left, they should come out with definitive plan and programmes against Maoists and Koirala in active form, then all Nepalis can believe that they are working for the interest of the country, not just for acute political gains.
