KATHMANDU, May 9 - The 2545th Birth Anniversary
of Lord Buddha was observed in London, United Kingdom, by the Nepali communities living
there, according to a press release issued by the Yeti Nepali Association here today.
Nepalese Ambassador to UK, Dr Singh Bahadur
Basnet opened the function by lighting a traditional oil lamp at the Boston College of
London Monday. He expressed pride that the apostle of peace was born in Nepal, and called
on world communities to follow the path shown by him.

Suresh Jung Shah, Nima Wangle Lama, Chirangibi Dhakal, Buddhist Monk Konchoy Wandvi Lama,

shed light on life and teachings of Buddha.
