Wrong information

This is in reference to the news entitled "PM releases first English novel by a Nepali" (TKP Oct 16, 2001) about the release of Manjushree Thapa’s The Tutor of History. On the basis of that information one of your readers - Khem Thapa- in the letter column of your paper of Oct 29 makes a slightly varied statement. This statement is not true though the book may be the first one to be published by Penguins.

I would like to point out that the children’s story book entitled Chandra & Damaru - Boys of Nepal, written by me under the pen name of "H" came out in 1967. Later in 1977, The Red Temple was first published by Sharada Prakashan.
