Yeti Airlines win Dashain Trophy

KATHMANDU, Nov 13 - Yeti Airlines lifted the third Dashain Trophy cricket tournament beating Suraj Arcade by 62 runs in the title match at the local Tundikhel ground on Tuesday.

Yeti Arilines, notched up a total of 257 for eight after being put into bat by Suraj Arcade, who won the toss. Paresh Lohani slammed a quick fire 60 off 66 balls. Apart from him, Prafulla Vaidya also contributed 48 runs to his side.

Akthar claimed 4 wickets in his 7-over spell.

Chasing more than six runs per over, Arcade top order faltered and lost three quick wickets. But a 126-run stand for the fourth wicket between Ratan Rauniyar (54) and Birendra Shah (71) took them to a position from where they could have won the match.

With the departure of Rauniyar and Shah in quick succession, leg-spinner Raj Kumar Pradhan wrapped up the Arcade tailenders with impressive 5-wicket haul.
