Int’l music festival to mark Earth Day

Post Report

KATHMANDU, April 17 Here is to music lovers again. A night of international music event at the Hotel Yak and Yeti on the Earth Day (19th April) will bring to you live, musicians from all over the world jamming with our own local bands.

David Lloyd Jones from New Zealand, Steven Apirana and Simon Russel Baker from Australia, Koda Jo Berry from Guyana and Instant Karma with host of other Nepali musicians will be creating fusion with rock and roll, blues and folk music.

The event called "Gaia" is a concept to celebrate the jubilance of the living earth. And there is more to it with "all you can drink and have a fabulous buffet" for the night. This all happens this Friday at the Madhuban Garden of the hotel. This seems to be the best way to celebrate the Earth Day and transcend yourself to a place beyond your wildest expectation with mesmerising music of the live bands.

Meanwhile, keeping the spirit of the Earth Day, the hotel is donating part of the proceeds to the development projects undertaken by the Ministry of Populations and Environment and the Borderlands Restoration Fund.
