Yeti Airlines thrash Kaski

CHITWAN, Dec 17 Yeti Airlines registered win in
their first match in the Lions Cup Cricket tournament comfortably beating Kaski by eight
wickets on Tuesday.
Kaski team were bundled out for just 92 runs in
28.2 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat first. Yeti Airlines consumed only
15 overs and two wickets to successfully chase the target.
Former Nepali international cricketer Kalam Ali
bagged three wickets in six over giving away 32 runs for Yeti Airlines. He was later
declared man of the match. Likewise, Bardan Chalise and Raju Basnet shared two wickets
each while Pramod Basnet and Raju Khadka notched a wicket each.
Bhim Gurung was the only Kaski player to resist
the star-studded Yeti Airlines bowling chipping in with 33 runs off 40 deliveries.
Rajesh Aryal (12) and Pradip Raut (11) failed to stay longer at the crease. Three Kaski
batsmen were unable to open their account.
Yeti Airlines opening batsmen Munik Shrestha and
Kiran Agrawals blitzkrieg batting guided them comfortably to reach the lowly target.
Shrestha smashed seven boundaries in his unbeaten 43-run innings while Agrawal scored
run-a-ball 35 runs, which included five perfectly timed boundaries.
Paresh Lohani was the only failure for Yeti
Airlines after he got out scoring just three runs off six balls. Milan Rana and Jagat
Tamata notched a wicket apiece.
