Students’ appeal

Belatedly though, the PABSON, a private boarding schools’ organisation, has decided to open schools. But one wonders how long this decision will be in effect. What will happen if the ANNISU-Revolutionary again forces schools to shut down. I think such enforced closure of academic institutions is not an effective means of putting pressure on the government. Instead, it spoils the future of the innocent students. All of us are being deprived of our education because of the "indefinite strike."

Our country is trying to make progress by means of education. But if such strikes and shutdowns occur frequently, the future of the country will be pushed into the dark. The future of a country relies on the quality education of children, who will be leading the country once they grow up.

So, the future of the students will be adversely affected, if colleges and schools remain closed for a long time and they are denied the right to education. Children, who used to carry their bags, books and go to schools happily, are now playing with dust and killing their valuable time doing nothing at home. So, I request you to listen to the appeal of the innocent children like us who have nothing to do with your political interest. Please, allow us to attend our classes without fear and disturbance. We also kindly request you not to play with our future.
