Religious fanatics

I have been reading a series of front page news stories in your daily since the Gujarat riots erupted. I fear such stories might provoke Hindu fanatics in Nepal. There are already a few Hindu organisations run by Nagpur based RSS and Vishwa Hindu Parishad in this country. I often see them active, especially in areas bordering Indian states of Bihar and UP. These organisations have not yet come up openly against the Muslim minority, but they secretly organise anti-Muslim activities. The day might come when we have to face Gujarat-like situation, if we do not take timely precaution.

Once such a religious riot took place in Nepalgunj some years ago. Everybody knew that were some Indian Hindus behind the riot. Political leaders in India divide people on the basis of religions rather than on political ideology. If a political party picks up religious issues, then a volcano could erupt in this country. We have a dozen political parties looking for an opportunity to shoot troubles in this country.
