Sthapit inaugurates swimming pool

KATHMANDU, March 30 (PR) – Kathmandu metropolis’ mayor Keshav Sthapit inaugurated a private swimming pool in Kirtipur on Saturday. The 82-feet long pool has been constructed in three ropanis of land next to Tyanglaphat, just south of TU. According to the proprietor Gyan Sundar Maharjan, the 42-feet wide pool cost Rs 13-million and altogether 150 swimmer can swim at a time in the pool. Maharjan also informed that they charge Rs 70 for walk-ins, Rs 60 for TU students and Rs 35 for the school students. The pool is a slope-type reigning from 3 feet to 6 and half feet.
