Maoist atrocities

Nepal is suffering from the atrocities unleashed by the enemies of democracy and freedom. The Maoists, inspired by Mao Tse Tung from China, want to establish communism in this poor nation, where more than 45 percent people are illiterate. They try to show to these innocent and illiterate people that communism brings them prosperity in their daily lives. But this is not true. Communism is an expired system, where pupils have to get permission to breathe and people live like animals in a zoo. So, communism cannot be an alternative to democracy.

Nepal is a democratic country, which guarantees every citizen the rights to voting, expression and movement. Unfortunately, many rural poor have failed to realise such rights and instead, joined their hands with the Maoists against the democratic establishment. Instead of going through ballot to win people’s votes, the Maoists are using bullet, terrorising innocent poor and destroying the country’s economic structure. They are trying to make another Afghanistan in South Asia.

During the five day bandh, the Maoists hijacked ambulances carrying seriously ill patients. They bombed a school where three children died in the blast. They looted more than 100 tons of rice donated by the UN agencies for the poor. Now, the people in remote areas are dying of hunger. These Maoists are not different from Taliban and Al-Qaida as many people, including the US ambassador, have already called them.
