Gruesome sacrifices

I am surprised to learn that there are no animal rights laws in Nepal, and thousands of innocent animals are being sacrificed everyday, mostly by beheading or slowly bleeding them to death. This is a very barbaric act and I want Nepal to enact laws to stop any further torture to innocent creatures. I am appalled to learn about the Gadimai Mela in the Bara district where around fifty thousand animals are butchered in the name of religion. I request you to let your government know that I am very distressed to learn about this mass sacrifices, which will again occur next year.
