Who will guard CIAA?

The question posed above struck me the other day when I heard about the raid carried out by the Commission for Investigation of the Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on the houses of senior police officers. We have the CIAA to watch over the police, the guardians of law and order in our society. But, who watches over the CIAA? This is not just about whether there are checks and controls over the actions and omissions of the Commissioner and officials of associated with the CIAA.

Equally important is the question as to whether the guardians of the anti-corruption drive are as clean as they claim themselves to be. Shouldn’t we be concerned about investigating this issue?
