LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Clear The Pavements

I have often seen in TRN’s Letter Column, writer’s complaining about the congestion created by vendors on the footpaths especially along Bhugol Park. Despite the pleas of so many to clear the pavements of the vendors, no action from the concerned officials has come forth. The once in a while chasing of the vendors does not solve the problem. If nothing can be done, at least stationing the city police on strategic points could prove a deterrent to the vendors thereby making the movement of people convenient. I hope the authorities concerned will wake up to the reality and do something in this regard.
