Artificial Scarcity Of Kerosene Despite the absence of any obvious reason, people throughout the Kingdom are now facing the scarcity of kerosene oil. The local shopkeepers and even the dealers, when asked, simply say that there is no kerosene in the market. It seems it is surely an artificial scarcity created by the dealers and shopkeepers. The concerned authorities seem to be unable to deal sternly with those who have created the artificial shortage of the essential commodity. I hope necessary measures will be initiated in this regard so that people will not have to suffer from such an artificial scarcity in the future. Sarmila Kharel |
