Enhance party image, Nepal tells activists Gaur, July 3 (RSS): Leader of the main opposition party and CPN-UML general secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that party workers should devote special attention towards how to put the partys future course of action before the people and how to attract them towards the party. Addressing a gathering of town level party workers organised by the CPN-UML Gaur town committee here today, he stressed that party workers should maintain high morale and enhance the party image by disposing of their responsibility towards the people with honesty and selflessly as part of the commitment made during election time. He said the tendency of corruption and irregularities plaguing other parties is occuring in their party also and called on all party workers to root this out once and for all. During the gathering, general secretary Nepal presented party memberships to Gaur Mayor Gaurishakar Yadav, independent ward no 9 member Ram Adhar Thakur, Bindeswar Prasad Mahato and Paspat Ray Yadav who have entered the party without any terms and conditions. CPN-UML town committee secretary Shyam Sundar Prasad Patel chaired the gathering at which a host of speakers including Rewant Jha, Hari Ghimire, Hridaya Narayan Shaha And Rautahat DDC Vice President Rajiuddin Alam also expressed their views. Also today, general secretary Nepal inaugurated a Reporters Club Rautahat branch office. On the occasion, he said that journalists had a vital role in highlighting the burning issues of the day through newspapers and also in drawing the attention of the concerned bodies to such issues. He issued directions to office chiefs gathered at the meeting hall at Gaur municipality to act in accordance with the polices of the central government. Other Stories |
