FNCCI draws govt's heed to POL price hike Kathmandu, July 17 (RSS): The Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has said its attention has been drawn to the price hikes which is almost hundred per cent made by the Nepal Oil Corporation within the last one month in petroleum products like hight diesel, aviation turbine fuel and industrial furnace oil used by hotels, aviation services, etc. The Federation has asked the government to take decisions on hiking prices only after consultations with the private sector. Meanwhile, in Janakpur-dham, the third national convention of Nepal Bullion Traders' Association held here on Saturday elected Mohan Saha as the president of the association for the second term running. Raj Kishor Saha, Bijaya Kumar Saha and Bharat Sharada are respectively the first, second and third vice-presidents while Amarnath Gupta is the general secretary, Ramesh Saha the secretary and Pawan Thakur the treasurer of the association. Earlier, chief district officer Binod Gyawali inaugurated the convention. On the occasion, president of Janakpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ramesh Kumar Saha, zonal representative of the FNCCI Bishwamani Pokharel, Nepali Congress district secretary Ram Krishna Yadav, Prakash Chandra Saha and others expressed their views.
