For A Student's Column
The Rising Nepal, the
national daily published from the capital is a very popular newspaper among the students
throughout the Kingdom. Besides local and international news and articles on various
subjects in the regular page, the "Friday Supplement" which contains a variety
of articles including the Crossword Puzzle, book, film and music reviews is really very
very interesting and appealing to all. Though TRN is up-to-date with sufficient news and
useful articles, it lacks a column for college students. If one more column particularly
for the college students is added, it will be beneficial for students like us. If there is
such a weekly column in TRN we will be able to get our creative writings published. I hope
something is seriously done in this regard.
