Civic sense is also one of the key determinants of social development. It mirrors how a country or a society is developed. Physical well-being or material progress of people is not the hall-mark of development at all. People living in the society are responsible for this. On the one hand we plead for civic sense and morality, on the other we often go against all social norms. We take pleasure in breaking social values to fulfill personal needs and greed. The formulation and enactment of rules and regulations alone cannot change peoples attitude. We should change ourselves with strong determination, otherwise we will always be in crisis. The crisis of civic sense cannot be tackled by the efforts of one single person alone. Pragya Dawadi |
