Find The Right Dumping Site
The problem of
finding the right site for disposal of the rubbish that Kathmandu generates every day
seems to always come up against a hurdle. The government has decided to develop Syuchatar
as the site for the landfill site but now it has been reported that the local people are
against it because they say that it is very close to the densely populated areas. The
concerned authorities must act with precaution while moving ahead with the decision lest
it might lead to any untoward incident. It is high time that a suitable site far from the
city be identified and which could also fulfill the needs for a long time to come. I hope
the concerned authorities will think deeply before finalising any project.
