Threat To Public Health

Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has started dumping the capital’s solid waste haphazardly at different parts, which is posing a serious threat to public health. Tourists from across the globe come to Nepal to enjoy the tranquality and beauty of nature here. But the stinking rubbish force them to cover their noses for protection. What impression will they carry with them when they go back to their respective countries? The government on the one hand does not tire saying that tourism is the backbone of the country, but seems not to be doing enough to promote this sector on the other.

Can’t the government find a permanent dumping site and bringd this ironic situation to an end?
