I would like to thank the Government of Nepal and the Central Immigration Department (CID) in general and the two staff of the Study Visa Section at CID office in particular for their honesty. Last Monday, M. Koda, a Japanese national who is also my student had forgotten his file containing some important documents and $ 400 in an envelop at the CID office in Kathmandu. When we came to know about this, we immediately requested the concerned authorities to find the lost file. But all our efforts went in vain. But the next day, the lost file was found at the Study Visa section of CID. In fact, the file was safely kept by the two staff of the Study Visa section. With this incident, I have realised that we Nepalese are still honest and that honesty is the identity of all Nepalese people. Dr. Bala Ram Aryal |
