ML preparing to elect new leadership Kathmandu, Nov. 26 (RSS): CPN-ML general secretary Bamdev Gautam said that the national convention of the party will evaluate the partys performance of the past three years, elect a new leadership and make important decision on matters relating to the extensive utilization of the multi-party system in the interest of the people. Speaking at a programme organised here today by Reporters Club Nepal, Mr. Gautam said the CPN-ML will never break up because it is united and led by communists who are dedicated to strengthen the communist movement through principle, ideology and philosophy. The CPN-ML is also of the conviction that the present constitution should be amended and extensive improvements made in the system, he added. Stating that the people in the country today want peace, tolerance and development, he urged the Maoists to leave the path of murder and violence. Other Stories |
