Dhankuta, Nov 29 (RSS): Manohar Narayan Shrestha has been elected president of Nepali Congress Dhankuta district committee by securing 95 votes during the district convention that concluded on Tuesday. His nearest rival Hari Kumar Rai polled 80 votes. Likewise, the convention elected Mahendra Shrestha, Shiva Rai and Ramgopal Limbu NC general committee members from Dhankuta constituency-1, and Ajit Narayan Singh Thapa, Arjun Thapa and Sharan Kumar Rai from constituency-2.
