HM visits Basantapur Gaddi Baithak, receives Tika, Prasad Kathmandu, Sept. 12 (RSS): His Majesty King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev visited the Basantapur Gaddi Baithak and received the Tika and Prasad of Sri Kumari, Sri Ganesh and Sri Bhairav on the occasion of Indrajatra today. Her Majesty Queen Aishwarya Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah and His Royal Highness Prince Nirajan Bir Bikram Shah were also present on the occasion. On the occasion, Their Majesties witnessed with keen interest the chariot procession of Sri Kumari, Sri Ganesh and Sri Bhairav and the traditional dance of Lakhe. His Majesty the King also granted audience to the heads of the diplomatic missions present, the heads of the constitutional bodies, high ranking officials of His Majesty’s Government and other distinguished persons were also present on the occasion.
