Awareness Needed To Mitigate Road Accidents

The existing overhead bridges are insufficient to hold the growing pressure of the current crowd in the capital. The shortage of the crossing bridges has been blamed for the increasing road accidents in the metropolitan city where the number of vehicles is rapidly soaring up. Everyday one or the other fatal accidents take place on the congested roads. Despite the congestion, the driving too is reckless adding woes to the already gloomy scene. It is really a gruesome experience to drive in this city, as one never reaches the destination on time. However, the lack of commonsense on the part of pedestrians is equally responsible for such unfortunate events. Many people ignore the safety rules while using crossing the road. They simply prefer to go across the busy road even at the places where the bridges have been constructed. Therefore, both the authorities and the common folks need to be aware to mitigate the problem that takes several innocent lives every year.
