BY A STAFF REPORTER Kathmandu : The Swadeshi Cable Industries (P) Ltd., the first indigenous cable industry of Nepal, has received the certificate of International Standard ISO 9002:1994 for its qualify products and management. According to a press release issued by the company, the cable industry has been given the certificate by the International Certification Service (Asia) Pvt. Ltd., which has been certified by JAS-ANZ. The company produces electrical wires and cable, telephone cable and other various types of cable. Established in 1977, the company has also been awarded with the letter of appreciation by the Bureau of Standard. The company has also met all the standards set by the ISO 9002. About 60 per cent of the electric and other cables used in Nepal are the products of the company, the company claimed. Other Stories |
