Heartfelt Condolence To The People Of Nepal During the long stay in the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China, I had the privilege of visiting and having meetings with the people of Solukhumbu district. I had the pleasure of knowing that these mountain people are honest and peace loving and hard working citisens of the country. I was shocked to learn that a such a peaceful place had to witness such incidents of violence in Salleri where so many innocent citizens died including Chief District Officer Buddhi Sagar Tripathy. I offer my heartfelt condolence to bereaved families and people of Solukhumbu for the most unfortunate violence caused by Maoist. My prayers are with the people Solu for quick return of peace and tranquility in land of Sagarmatha. the declaration of state of emergency in your country may cause some discomforts for a time being but it is high time for all the citizen of Solu to untidely stand along with Nepals government whole-heartedly for security and integrity of Nepal as a whole. I personally share the distress and sorrows of all the concerned people of Nepal in general and Solukhumbu in particular. Nyima Samkar |
