Privatisation of four corporatation under fire Bhaktapur (RSS):The Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) has expressed its disagreement with HMGs decision to privatise four corporations. A press release issued by central member of the party Sunil Prajapati states that the decision to privatise the Yatayat Sansthan, Cottage and Handicraft Sales Store, Oriental Magnesite and Sajha Yatayat during a state of emergency in the country will only benefit foreign monopoly capital and harm the Nepali people. Even as it is clear that the corporations are running at a loss due to overstaffing, privatisation will only render thousands of workers unemployed, the party said. |
